Natural Ways To Prevent Hair Loss.

Thick, healthy hair is a dream for everyone. Although it is normal for everyone to lose hair but unexplained, excessive hair loss can be worrying. If you have observed more of your hair falling out during shower and while brushing and combing here are few tips to help prevent this hair loss:

1. Try To Determine The Cause: Men and women sometimes notice that their hair is thinning and they are losing a lot of hair. Their may be a number of underlying cause like advancing age, menopause, genetics, illnesses, drugs, nutritional imbalances or deficiencies etc. If a definite cause is known treatment and prevention of hair loss may be more easy by avoiding or managing the factor that is causing the problem.

2. Take Vitamins: Vitamins are needed for healthy hair and skin. If you are losing hair may be you have an underlying vitamin deficiency. taking daily vitamin supplements may help prevent hair loss and maintain healthy hair. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp. Vitamin E stimulates circulation which is good for healthy hair follicles. Be Careful About the Way You Style Your Hair: Some hair styles that require tight pulling, clips and elastics bands and if done on a daily basis , it can lead to excessive hair loss as well as damage to the hair roots. Be careful while making tight ponytails or braiding tightly. the medical term used for hair loss due to a hair style that is too tight is known as 'traction alopecia' and is completely preventable.

8. Keep your Hair Clean: Wash your hair regularly with a mild shampoo and always be gentle with your hair. A clean scalp and hair prevents any infections and thus prevents hair loss.

9. Healthy Hair Brushing: Keep you hair combed and brush them regularly. Avoid brushing wet hair which increases hair loss. Also avoid combing too frequently as it may cause hair injury and resulting increased loss. Use a soft bristled brush to brush through your hair after when they are dry after a shower. Avoid rubbing hair vigoursly with a towel to dry them as it causes damage and increased hair loss.

10. Manage Your Stress: Although you may not believe it but it is true that stress may a major cause for your hair loss. If you can determine the cause of your stress and manage it you will notice that a decrease in hair loss. Always stay positve and try to be stress free.
