Spicy Yoghurt Drink (Burhani Raita)

This delicious drink for spice lovers could be prepared in a few minutes and is usually served with biryani in Indian subcontinent.

Ingredients:
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp each of garlic and ginger paste
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
few coriander leaves
1-2 green chills.
Salt to taste
2 cups water

Procedure:

1. Heat a pan with a bit of oil just to garnish the pan and roast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds and mustard seeds along with the garlic and ginger paste for 2 - 3 minutes. This helps in giving a nice aroma to the seeds.
2. Use a grinder to grind up all the ingredients together so as to give a smooth consistency.
3. Add water to obtain the desired concentration.
4. Its ready to drink and enjoy!
